Heavy Coats In Summer

img_0423.JPGWe had twenty guys show up this morning to put a new coat of sealer on theimg_0421.JPG parking lot at church. It’s amazing what you can get a group of guys to do for a doughnut! I wish I could have been out there in the middle of it. One of my biggest frustrations right now is not being able to do outside physical work. Sometimes it makes me feel like a real weanie. I’m not a couch potato, I love to get out in the middle of projects at home and at church. Susan encourages me not to get bugged but I still do anyway.Anyhow, I want to give a big thanks to all the guys who came out today. img_0422.JPGHere’s a few pics of some hard, hot work. img_0425.JPG

Oh man, wish I was there, looks like it was a lot of fun. I never laid asphalt sealant before, but there’s always been something in me that’s wanted to.
    Miss ya’ll!

I can still smell the Lava soap, Goo Gone and paint thinner the guys were cleaning themselves with! O_O

The guys worked very hard. I could tell when Tony got home. The parking lot looks wonderful. We have such a great church family and we are soooo blessed. Thanks to all the men and women who helped that.
